About "Notes"

This is where standalone articles that don't form a series live — short essays, opinions, tool recommendations, stray thoughts, and things not yet grown enough to stand as their own series.

Why a separate section

This site's top level is a list of series, each a node with a beginning and an end. But some articles stand alone and belong to no series — forcing them into one feels out of place, and scattering them across the top level breaks the hierarchy. So they get a dedicated home: Notes.

How to find articles here

Notes have no fixed reading order — read as needed. To find by topic, use article tags (/tags/), or browse by date in the archive (/archive/).

Will it stay scattered forever

No. Once a theme accumulates a few articles here, it gets pulled out and promoted into its own series. So Notes is both a catch-all and an incubator for new series.
